![]() I am going to not only uninstall the game, but look for a way to remove it completely. ![]() I prefer games where I am the one to choose what units and how many I place. I don't even know if I still have a copy of those games. I remember a lot of board games and PC games that restricted you in placement of units and even removed units to simulate the changes Hitler made in withdrawing units to fight in another part of the front. from the 19080s and 1990s more than this game. I even like older games like Panzer Leader, Panzer Korps. Games like Blitzkrieg II and Company of Heroes are so much better. Now it is so different, I cannot even seem to find a way to start over with the tutorial. Tried again with changes in the game added, still hated it. I was supposed to take a position, mortar or MG I think, but the commands to enter the fortification/bunker would not work and the infantry just sat there getting killed by the MG in the bunker. I started this game as it first came out, hated it. Not just because they used a lot of tanks. But this game? No real choices, very restricted.Įven in the early war in Poland, the Germans had combined arms, air, artillery, tanks and infantry working together. I added a small number of units, and made it so much more playable and fun. Oh wait, THAT "IS" the name of the game isn't it? Stock scenarios gave you very little to attack with, so it was not technically a "blitzkrieg" at all. It was fun to have a decent number of tanks and infantry to roll over the enemy with a lightning fast offense. Not because it was too hard, but to just make it different. I used the editor afterwards to add units, just to see it differently. I played Blitzkrieg I and II so many times I cannot count. I have over 300 hours in single player, the game is awesome. The very first mission in the game is easy, I dont know how hard the demo is but if you change up your strategy a bit, it really makes a difference on the outcome. ![]() Originally posted by crosan4:Ok nobody likes to cheat but this game is so hard on the demo i played that it turned me off any desire to buy.You are usually stacked up against so many enemies that it was very difficult to accomplish missions even on the demo. You cannot repair your vehicles and no medics are provided to heal your infantry.I enjoy playing strategy games and enjoyed Sudden Strike many years ago when it was released.Graphics are passable but why do most of the dead soldiers and knocked out tanks always disappear thus making the battle field unrealistic. To the developers in the future please make the single player missions more playable and easier to complete.I have no interest whatso ever in playing this game on line.I really like ww2 strategy games but i will not be paying money for this game. ![]()
